The Lord called to my heart through the voice of a young girl, whose name I may never know yet her face and story I will never forget.  She didn't share her story through the use of words and phrases, she didn't insert punch lines or closing remarks...she simply smiled as the camera panned across a sea of orphaned children in Uganda.  Her smile echoed mercy, her eyes foretold hope in the shadows of despair, her skin resembled my own.  The Lord called to my heart through that young girl and many more thereafter, as I attuned my ear to hear and my heart to receive.  I wondered deep inside if I could really do anything to make a difference.  Could I change the course of her life and the many others whose lives were seemingly etched out on a canvass of choas?  What could I possibly do?  Then I was reminded to humble myself and surrender to the call of LOVE.  Love bears all things.  God is Love.  I can do nothing without God.  See it's not about what I can do alone.  It's about what God can do through each of us.  See, when we LOVE through action, word or deed we reflect the Spirit and Heart of God. 

My hope is to share my story, and inspire you to answer to the call of LOVE.  Shhhh.  Listen.  There are thousands of voices ringing in the air that we breathe, can you hear them calling?  Join with me in answering the call.  These voices are not the evidence of a forgotten lives.  These voices are the evidence of a Restored Hope and Promising Future!  Together, "Rooted in Love", we can do something to make a real difference.  Together we can love through action. 

The Lord called to my heart and I answered, "YES, send me".  I invite you to join with me on this powerful journey of LOVE, HOPE and LIFE.
